Cows graze on spring grass in a field Wednesday on Route 11 near Philladelphia. 

Sparks a Lot

Brent F. Billhardt grinds a piece of a protective cap for a tractor Monday at Billhardt's Jamesway Sales and Service on Route 12 in Glenfield. 

Cape Vincent firefighters respond to a barn fire on Wilson Point Road in Cape Vincent. Five pigs in the barn were not harmed. An investigation continues.

Fishin', Barn Fire

FISHIN'

Kyle J. Gionet, 9, fishes in Crooked Creek on County Route 1 near Goose Bay.  Kyle, who turns 10 in a few days, said he is hoping for a new fishing pole as a gift. 


 BARN FIRE

A barn at the The Robbins family farm burns to the ground early Friday morning on County Route 145 in the town of Hounsfield.  Over 100 heifers died in the fire.
